From the Introduction:
"This report summarizes the assessment work carried out in the Duteau Creek watershed under the Watershed Restoration Program (Contract No. KA-34-96-011W). The watershed is situated on the western flank of the Monashee Mountain Range southeast of the Village of Lumby in the Vernon Forest District (refer to map). The watershed has an area of 19 100 ha. Duteau Creek is a community watershed under license to the North Okanagan Water Authority. It is tributary to Bessette Creek, a salmon and resident fish stream which is tributary to the Shuswap River."
